The Four Conversations Part 2

The Four Conversations Part 2
Yesterday, we looked at the Eye to Eye conversation where we SEE another person, and engage them kindly.  We communicate that they are a person of worth, known and loved by God.
Today, let’s remember Conversation number 2 – the Hand to Hand conversation.  It is easy to remember because we offer the hand of friendship.  This is the conversation you have with a friend who is not yet a follower of Jesus where you invite them to spend time with you.  You might just hang out and watch a game.  You might offer to help them, or invite them help you.  What we communicate is that we accept our friend – just as they are.  They are not our spiritual projects – they are simply our friends.  In the verse we looked at on Sunday, we saw that Jesus was a friend of “sinners.”  We should be too.

Romans 15:7 (NIV84)
Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
