Learn more about Bethany's history, who we are, and what it is we believe so that you can decide if this is the right church for you.
Experience, our youth ministry, is much like our whole church in that it is not so big that kids don’t get noticed, but not so small that they stick out. It is a vibrant ministry that can introduce students to Jesus Christ, help them grow a personal relationship with Him, and help them find their sweet spot of service doing the important work he has prepared in advance for them to do (Ephesians 2:10). At Bethany, our youth are not “the future of the church” – but are the church now! So, you will find young people serving and leading in many areas of church life, such as our children’s ministry, music teams, and our Sound/ AV team.
On Sundays, the main focus of our youth group is to experience God through the Bible, worship and relevant and age appropriate teaching.
MSG (Middle School Group): MSG meets on Sunday morning at 11am after our 10 a.m. service ends. On April 30, MSG will begin a four week series starting at 11 a.m. while parents hang out in the coffee fellowship area. The Bible Study enables students to experience great teaching and discussion time with their peers and adults.
High School Ignite: The High School group meets for Bible Study on Sunday nights from 6 to 7:45 PM. Our goal is to create environments where students are encouraged to make wise choices, positively influence their friends, and experience personal ministry through serving others.
Both High School and Middle School students meet each week for our Wednesday Night Experience from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. We play games, eat food, and hang out with each other. Experience is the place where friendships are formed and can deepen.
Special events: Each week, we send out a newsletter of all that is happening in the Youth Group to students and their parents so be sure to sign-up so you don’t miss anything that is happening! We are always doing stuff like having lock-ins, going to movies together, bowling, laser tag, ski trips in the winter, a retreat in the spring, youth conferences, mission trips, amusement parks, and other things.
