We Are Rooted in Christ

Let your roots grow down into him,
and let your lives be built on him.
Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught,
and you will overflow with thankfulness.
Colossians 2:7

We believe that children are entrusted to us from God and therefore it is our responsibility to raise them to know and love Jesus Christ.

We understand that it can be tough to be a kid these days … and maybe even tougher to be a parent. In our church, we believe strongly that parents have the primary responsibility to disciple their children; however, we also believe that we as a body of Christ also have a role in this process. At its core, the vision and purpose of Rooted Children’s Ministry is to partner with you as your children begin and grow in their own personal relationship with Jesus.

We help families by providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can experience God’s love for them, while also building friendships that will last for a lifetime.

Age appropriate Bible teaching is available for children every Sunday. All of our classrooms are staffed by trained church members who have completed our safety screening program and who love children and serve faithfully on a regular basis.

While the adults are in worship service, children can enjoy classes designed just for them.

Seedlings/Nursery (ages birth - 3 years) [open on 2nd and 4th Sundays]

Our nursery space is equipped with age-appropriate toys and activities for the youngest of all, our Seedlings. We begin teaching Bible stories and spiritual truths to children when they are toddlers.

Sprouts: Preschool through 1st grade

Children that are Preschool age through Early Elementary years have a lot to learn from, and teach, one another. This age grouping maximizes the social skills they are currently learning while encouraging children to mentor one another as they begin their walk with Jesus. Sprouts are naturally curious and absorb so much of the information they get from the world around them. Many of the “nutrients” they are provided with at this age will stick with them for the rest of their lives

Saplings: Upper Elementary (3rd through 5th grade)

Our Upper Elementary children are wiser and so much more capable beyond their years. They are young Saplings, ready to branch out, but still need guidance as they continue to grow and mature on their walk with Jesus.

Visiting For the First Time?

On your first visit, look for the Check-In area.
You’ll be greeted by smiling volunteers eager to meet your family.
We’ll be there every step of the way to get your kids checked in.

Because we value safety: We’ll need some information during this check-in time, including: family member’s name, child’s name, grade and birthday, home address, email address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.)
