Children's Ministry

We understand that it can be tough to be a kid these days … and maybe even tougher to be a parent.  In our church, we believe strongly that parents are the primary disciplers of their children – but also that the whole family will benefit from learning from caring followers of Jesus. We help families by providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can experience God’s love for them, and also build friendships that will last for a lifetime. Our trained teachers and care givers can help you to help your children begin and grow in their relationship with Jesus.  Our children’s ministry also sponsors regular events for parents to build lasting friendships and to grow in their role as a parent.

Age appropriate Bible teaching is available for children every Sunday.  All of our classrooms are staffed by trained church members who have completed our safety screening program and who love children and serve faithfully on a regular basis. While the adults are in our worship service, the children enjoy four “classes” arranged by age group:

  • Nursery (ages birth- 3 years)
  • Preschool/Kindergarten
  • Early Elementary (1st and 2nd grade)
  • Upper Elementary (3rd through 5th grade)

Our nursery and preschool rooms are equipped with age-appropriate toys and activities. We begin teaching Bible stories and spiritual truths to children when they are toddlers.

Elementary school age children meet in our lower level “Promiseland” – an area dedicated to Children’s Ministries. Early Elementary students meet in an enclosed classroom while Upper Elementary students meet in our spacious Kids’ Arena.
