John 13:34-35 says,
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

It is within these principles that we open our arms to you, as you continue the process of becoming and growing as a disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ.

WHAT TO EXPECT

We worship as a church family every Sunday at 10:00 a.m.  Our services feature contemporary music,  casual dress, relevant preaching, children’s programming for all ages, ASL interpretation and visual worship music,  CART,  and the love of Christ.

A typical service will last about 60-90 minutes long.  We sing contemporary music that is led by our worship team.  Age appropriate classes and activities are available  for all children. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.  You can expect to receive practical and applicable teaching from the word of God, so that you might live your life according to Biblical principles,

We are open to all who desire to begin and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ; and to those who searching for truth.

WHO WE ARE

We are called to be disciples of Jesus Christ. As such we believe that we are commissioned to be disciple-makes. To carry out this co-mission we must be willing and diligent in our study of the Scriptures in order that we might be able to rightly handle the word of God.

To this end, all who join with us
must commit themselves to studying in God’s word personally, and corporately with us through worship services, small groups, and or other opportunities to grow in our relationships with our Lord.

We are called to serve. Throughout the life of Jesus, He modeled and taught that we should be servants; not only of our God, but that we would also be willing to serve one another.

To this end we commit ourselves to using our God-given gifts and talents to support the church, our communities, and the spread of the Gospel to all nations.

HOW WE DO IT

In order to ensure that we as a ministry can serve our community, one another, and spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth, we commit to financial support the local church.

We extend our worship to the Lord, through the giving of tithes and offerings. We are God to be generously and commit ourselves to sacrificial giving so that others might come to know Jesus. We believe that all the we have is from the Lord, and we commit ourselves to sowing back into the church so that many may reap the Gospel.

What time is your service?

We have service at 10am each Sunday and services last for 60-90 minutes.

We are a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-generational church. You will find us to be very welcoming of people from all backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. From our worship to the word we strive to help others begin and grow in a personal, but not private, relationship with Jesus Christ. We begin this process by showing all who enter our doors the love of Christ.
We invite you to join us in comfortable attire that is respectful of the house.
We offer Children’s ministry for all ages, beginning in our nursery to 5th grade each Sunday during service.

Hello Bethany Family, 
 
We pray that you are all well this evening. As you know, there is a weather advisory for our area until 10am in effect regarding the incoming snow, potential slippery roads as a result of the weather conditions, and low temperatures. Our understanding is that the snow will conclude by 7am, however, due to the short amount of time that will be available to assess and make a judgement call in the morning that would keep team members, volunteers, and members of the congregation out of harm’s way, after the discussion with the Elders we have decided not to have service in the morning. This decision did not come lightly, but out of an abundance of caution and care for our members, some of whom arrive at the church very early to support service. We believe that this is the best course of action due to the circumstances and the short window to decide and inform everyone. We pray that each of you is warm and safe, and hope that even as we thank God for 39 years as a church from our homes that you will take time for family devotion together.
 
While we didn’t plan for our anniversary to come this way, we remain grateful for God’s keeping hand on Bethany Community Church for all of these years. We hope to see you all in person next week!
