Hey BRAVE (Beautifully Redeemed and Victoriously Empowered) Girls!! I am so excited to announce our newest focus study – Ephesians: A Study of Faith and Practice. Join the BRAVE Women’s Ministry for this seven-week hybrid (half in-person and half Zoom) Bible study as we take inventory and ask ourselves- Who am I? The question of identity is always in the back of our minds, and it’s currently at the forefront of social conversations. But the first question we need to ask is: Who is God? Then we can begin to consider, And who am I in light of who He is?

In this 7-session study, Bible teachers, authors, and friends Jackie Hill Perry, Jasmine Holmes, and Melissa Kruger walk through the book of Ephesians, examining the invaluable truths Paul’s letter holds for us today. Along the way, they’ll help us understand the riches of our inheritance as daughters of our heavenly Father, as well as what it means to walk in a manner worthy of our calling.
This class will be offered during the day from 10:00 -11:30 am (in-person) as well as an evening session from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The format for the evening class will be hybrid (alternating in-person/online classes). Both classes will be held on October 2nd in-person. Please plan accordingly. In preparation for our first class, please watch the first introduction video. Details will be sent to those that register.

The registration fee for this class will be $25.

Sign language interpreting services are available upon request.
This study includes:

  • Individual access to seven streaming videos
  • A study guide
  • Group discussion questions and activities
  • Personal, transformative Bible study exercises between sessions

Hello Bethany Family,

We pray that you are all well this evening. As you know, there is a weather advisory for our area until 10am in effect regarding the incoming snow, potential slippery roads as a result of the weather conditions, and low temperatures. Our understanding is that the snow will conclude by 7am, however, due to the short amount of time that will be available to assess and make a judgement call in the morning that would keep team members, volunteers, and members of the congregation out of harm’s way, after the discussion with the Elders we have decided not to have service in the morning. This decision did not come lightly, but out of an abundance of caution and care for our members, some of whom arrive at the church very early to support service. We believe that this is the best course of action due to the circumstances and the short window to decide and inform everyone. We pray that each of you is warm and safe, and hope that even as we thank God for 39 years as a church from our homes that you will take time for family devotion together.

While we didn’t plan for our anniversary to come this way, we remain grateful for God’s keeping hand on Bethany Community Church for all of these years. We hope to see you all in person next week!

God bless,

Pastor Nate
